In December 2004, the Ambulatory Surgery Center of Burley opened up their center to legislators, fellow physicians and community leaders for a presentation on “what ASC's can do for the state of Idaho." It was a full house where over 5 ASC administrators, 6 physicians, and 10 legislators took time from their day to discuss the issues that ASC’s have. This was the 1st of these in Idaho and opened discussions between with our legislative leaders. It has started a trend in Idaho and several other centers have now followed suit in educating our state law makers. See pictures below. (Click on picture to enlarge)
